90’s Grunge Inspired Juicy Lips: Forget The Filler by Lawless

The Lawless Plumping Lip Gloss That I’m Obsessed With

As a tween in late 90s and early 00s, I’ve always admired those who could pull off a brick red or muddy brown-mauve lip. But it took me a long time to find a shade that looked decent (aka: alluring and modern, not cringey) on my Mediterranean skin tone.

Ladies and gentlemen. I found her.

Let me introduce you to George. George is a hyper-glossy vegan lip gloss by Lawless. And I find that most lip liner shades work well with her. Reach for any darker pink or medium peach-brown shade and George with glide seamless over like a hot knife through butter. Boom. Instant juicy lips that wink at the 90s/00s resurgence.

Forget The Filler is a Lip Plumping Line Smoothing Gloss

The Forget The Filler formula is easily one of the nicest wearing lip gloss plumpers that I’ve tried. It’s a thick, buttery texture that is (yes) super tacky—thus, lip lines are blurred and volume is instant. Unlike most lip plumping formulas, there is no sting. I can only detect a slight minty tingle when I first apply it. This is next-level glossiness with the added benefit of coating the lips in a nourishing and visually-plumping skin treatment.

In short: Use this when you want head-turning, va-va-voom lips. But maybe not on super windy days. (I’d instead recommend Lawless’ original Forget The Filler Lip Mask, since it’s more slippery and far less tacky.)

Get The 90s Grunge Lip Look:

Step 1: Line your lips with a complimentary dark nude (for your skin tone) shade. I’m using Neutra by 1999 Beauty. Personally, I like to over line the center of my upper lip and my entire lower lip when I’m doing this look.

Step 2: Carefully remove the doe-foot applicator from the Forget the Filler tube and wipe off excess product—you don’t need a lot! It’s a thick consistency.

Step 3: Apply from the middle of you lower lips and spread outward. Voila! Glossy, pouty, moody lips that are equal parts vixen and badass.
